Customization

To start making edits to your theme you’ll need to go on to your blog page and click Edit Theme at the top right.

Colours

We’ve kept the colour options for the theme minimal. The few options let you take control of the look and feel of your blog. These can be located on the customization screen at the top.

You can choose a photo to upload as a logo which will be resized to fit the header.

This theme uses Tumblr Archive, RSS & Random links which can be turned off easily. There are options to add Custom links which you can choose to link to any page. e.g.

Header Image

This theme allows you to add a full width header image. First you’ll need to go to your customisation settings and upload an image to Header Background. You can also upload a logo to Header Background Logo.

Video Header

If you would like to use a Youtube video as the header background simply paste the video ID to the Header Background Youtube Video ID box.

Google Analytics

This theme has built-in support for Google Analytics tracking. On Google Analytics create a new property for your Tumblr blog address and paste that tracking ID in to the Google Analytics ID field in your blog’s Customization settings.

To link to your social media paste your profile link in the relevant URL box. By default it will display on the navigation as text e.g. Vimeo, If you would like to switch to icons turn on the Social Links Icon option.

Sidebar

This themes sidebar has a few widgets that you can edit to make your own. You can add an avatar, text widget, search widget, social links and other social widgets to display your feeds.

To use the sidebar enable the Sidebar option in the Tumblr customize screen.

Instagram & Twitter Feeds

This theme supports Instagram and Twitter widgets. To display your most recent Instagram photos you’ll need your Access Token and User ID which you can get here. Once you’ve got them you’ll need to put them in the Dual options.

Sidebar Description

The sidebar uses a different Description than the main Tumblr description. To add text to the sidebar find the Sidebar Text Widget box and enter your description here. You can also paste HTML/JS inside.

Avatar

You will need to upload an avatar to Sidebar Avatar for it to show up on the Sidebar.

 

Typekit Fonts

You can add custom fonts from Typekit. You will need to enter your Typekit ID and Typekit font which will then change your blogs font. You can get more help with this here.

Bigger posts

You can make posts double the size by adding the tag double-width.

Soundcloud Player Widget

To enable this find the Soundcloud Widget URL box in the customize screen and paste your Soundcloud Playlist in this format. fuseplaylist/sets/smooth
